I have always been drawn to the beauty of vintage art and aesthetics so with this piece I decided to focus entirely on branching the old style with a new approach – digital collage. Using collected clippings from different sources and variety, I selected one piece from each year of the 1800’s, 100 elements in total to represent the entire century. As a unified piece it is interesting to see how each seperate part connects with counterparts and tells a story of a century of change and commotion.
